The BGA Tour's player of the year points system has been changed.
Points will be based on the number of player that show up for a
event. For example, if 6 people show up for a event the low net
winner will get 6 points and second place (according to low net)
will get 5 points.
Also you will still get double points for all major events.
At the end of the year the person will the most points will be player
of the year.
You still need to have at least 10 events to qualify for Player
of the Year. If this is your first event on the BGA Tour then you
are not eligible for points, this first round will be your qualifying
event. Handicaps carry over from last year so, if this is your first
event this year then you will use last years handicap.
